Saturday Brought Best Crowd Since Inaugural Game to Alamodome

Updated: Sep 12, 2023

The UTSA Crowd showed up, made noise, and found themselves the biggest crowd since the first ever game for the program in 2011.

It was announced in the third quarter of Saturdays game against in-state rival Texas State that the official attendance at the Alamodome nearly reached 50,000 strong.

The attendance marks the second-largest home crowd in UTSA's short history. The battle of I-35 took place as UTSA defeated the Bobcats 20-13.

The Graph showed above is UTSA's Top 10 Home Crowds before Saturdays matchup surpassing the game against Baylor in 2018.

Every UTSA fan in attendance should feel like they contributed to this victory. Nearly 50k in the Alamodome is amazing. Next time let’s aim for 60k.
